During this presentation Gerardo “Jerry” Chapa from Art & Sons will talk his story as a successful, independent Latinx graphic designer. Jerry has received numerous awards and worked with world-renowned organizations.

GERARDO "JERRY" CHAPA

Artist, Graphic Designer, Entrepreneur, President of Art & Sons

Jerry is a winner of American Institute of Graphic Design’s 50 Covers & 50 Best Books in 2019. Has been published in LogoLounge Master Library and LogoLounge Books for his logo design work. Jerry was also featured in Design MMoCA a biennial showcase in 2012, 2014, and 2016 at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.


For the last 22 years Jerry has worked on local and national brands like the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, American Family Insurance, Bow & Arrow Brewing and non-profit brands such as World Council of Credit Unions, and Gio’s Garden. He is Passionate about time with family, outdoors, restoring his classic car and environmental issues.
